Tower Defense. The most epic and addicting type of minigame in history! I am now trying to make a VX version!Everything is pretty much done, the logic, the sprites, etc... but there is one very very important thingy left...I am terrible at making databases, you probably already know that (I also made a TD before...), and it seems to be very unbalanced!

So I need you, to try out a small test before I continue the development of this game. This test consists of a simple map with 7 enemy waves.

How can you help?
As you can see, this demo is very unbalanced and can be hard at some waves etc... Anyway, I need help with:

  • Bugs of any kind of course...
  • Suggestions about anything. Really.
  • Feedback about the balance (what towers need to be stronger, prices, etc...)
  • If you completed the 7 waves (nothing will happen), take a screenshot and show us how you completed it. It will help me find out a lot of stuff.

Ahemm well did not notice that you could switch towers lol
but here is what I got I did not even need the towers by the castle...

1. I say the fire towers need to be weaker...
2. I believe it is only that last wave that do not have hp bars...
3. As I said I did not need the other the fire towers may need to be weaker...

THAT WAS FUN!!



I didn't wait for the 7th wave but the result is almost predictable.

Suggestions about anything. Really.
Hmm... Make a 'bullet' animation, wherein the player can know
which monster is attacked by the tower.

Also, the splash screen was too long...
I added this to the original package I downloaded, maybe it'll be useful for TDVX, too:

OMG This has to be the most EPIC AND FUN game I have ever played!! Omegas, you just got me addicted to Tower Defense games. I seriously can't get enough of this!! I finished all 7 Waves and was waiting for another Wave. After 5 minutes, I realized that the 7th Wave was the last XD Anyways, I hope I get to play some more man. I want more waves! I was so obsessed in it that I didn't notice a flaw.

Post screenshots of your strategy if you won the 7 waves! I need that damn info lol!

So fire towers are way too strong? (Probably because their damage is good and they got splash...)
I also noticed that level 3 wind towers are freaking powerful killing machines...

I'll just explain what I did.
Spoiler:
Just put two Fire Towers on the first turn to the road. Then put two Wind Towers. Then a Time Tower. Then a Water Tower. And when you keep getting 28 Gold, upgrade the first two Fire Towers. Then finally put some Wind and Water Towers near the castle and upgrade them two at least level 2.

I did not even upgrade so yeah the towers need to be weaker...
and maybe you can make it where the monsters can attack the towers to make more of a challenge.
but its still fun!

I'm not really going to put difficulty levels. I am trying to make it easy then hard and then impossible as you advance the game.
